De6ace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-5-182 - AWARDING THE LOW BID FOR TFIE <br /> INSTALLATION OF SEWER AND WATER IN THE CITY GARAGE TO <br /> S"1, i'F~UL YIT7LITI:H;S IN ^1tTE; 11N(OUNT OP ;i1yy50.00 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> ayes (5) DeBace, Scalze, Flanson, Fahey, Nadeau. <br /> Nay es (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 117. <br /> Cleaning Councilman DeBace reported to the Council that the Utility Department <br /> Of Ditch would like to hire someone to do some minor cleaning of ditch #16. <br /> #16 The ditch is very dry this year and now would be a good time to do <br /> this cleaning. DeBace stated that the estimated cost would be $1,600. <br /> Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80-5-183 - AUTHORIZING THE UTILITY DEPARTMENT <br /> TO HIRE THE NECESSARY MACHINERY TO DO SOME MINOR CLEANING IN <br /> THE 60TTOM OF DITCFI #16 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Flanson. <br /> Ayes (5) DeBace, Hanson, Nadeau, Fahey, Scalze. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 117. <br /> Cleaning Councilman DeBace reported that the City needs someone to clean the <br /> City Flall City Flall. Mayor Hanson stated that an ad would be placed in the <br /> paper advertising this position. The job pays minimum wage. <br /> Additional Councilman DeBace reported to the Council that he and the Utilities <br /> Utilities Department would be reviewing the need for an additional employee over <br /> Employee the next few months. Some of the additional programs that the Utilities <br /> Department would like to become involved in are an extensive sewer line <br /> cleaning program and an inspection of water meters program. <br /> Street Councilman De6ace informed Council that the street sweeper is now working <br /> Sweeping in the City. Councilman Nadeau asked that the sweeper be sure to sweep <br /> Lakeshore Avenue. page -15- <br /> <br />
