<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> June 11, 1980 <br /> Change Order The City Engineer submitted to Council a change order to the maintenance <br /> Maintenance garage calling for moving an interior wall in order that the garage <br /> Garage would have two heated stalls. <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-6-215 - APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 <br /> TO THE MAINTENANCE GARAGE <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br /> Ayes (4) Fahey, Nadeau> Scalze, Hanson. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 137. <br /> Assessment The City Engineer reported that due to the division of the Jespersen <br /> Reapportion- property it is necessary to reapportion the assessments. The original <br /> ment assessments were: #53-03700-120-02 - $1,548.81; #53-03700-130-02 - <br /> $1,548.81. The reapportioned assessments are: #53-03700-250-02 - <br /> $1,548.81; #53-03700-260-02 - $1,548.81; #53-03700-270-02 - None; <br /> #53-03700-280-02 - None. <br /> Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-6-216 - APPROVING THE REAPPORTIONMENT <br /> OF ASSESSMENTS FOR DIVISION N0. 055737 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> ayes (4) Scalze, Nadeau, Hanson, Fahey. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 138. <br /> Sleepy The Engineer reported that as the Elighway Department would not allow <br /> hlollow the drainage of the area of the Sleepy Hollow Apartments to be run <br /> Drainage along their right-of-way, it was necessary to do a new feasibility <br /> Problems study for correcting the drainage problem. <br /> The new estimate for correcting the drainage problems is $203,939.31. <br /> The Engineer reported that this cost would include everything, and it <br /> may be possible to not have to do some of the work that he is estimating <br /> will have to be done and thus come up with a lower cost. <br /> The Engineer is proposing to excavate an area in the back of Sleepy <br /> Hollow to hold water that builds up and in the meantime have a pumping <br /> station that will be pumping this area. The pumps he is proposing <br /> will be 1,000 gallon per minute pumps. The pumps will have a long life <br /> as they will only be used occasionally. <br /> The Engineer stated that he will meet with the parties involved in the <br /> problem to submit to them the new cost estimate. The Engineer would <br /> also like to have some Councilmembers present at this meeting and he <br /> will notify them of 'the meeting. <br /> Page -12- <br /> <br />
