<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> July 9, 1980 <br /> Granada Granada Homes is requesting permission to install drain the in the <br /> Homes back of two homes located on the west side of Payne Avenue. They <br /> Drain Tile would then connect this drain the to the City's storm sewer. <br /> Installation <br /> The City Engineer stated that there would be no problem with this and <br /> indicated that that is the purpose of the storm sewer. <br /> Mayor Hanson indicated that the location of this drain the should be <br /> recorded. <br /> Councilman Fahey suggested that the City get an easement for drainage <br /> purposes. <br /> The Mayor instructed Granada Homes to put a drawing together on this <br /> proposal and have the City Engineer review it and the Engineer should <br /> then get an easement drawn up. Councilman DeBace suggested that once <br /> the the is in the City Engineer should inspect it. <br /> Fluer Royal The City has received correspondence from an attorney representing the <br /> Objection Fluer Royal Apartments that they object to the park charge the City is <br /> To Park imposing on apartments that convert to condominiums. <br /> Charge <br /> Councilman Fahey stated that he is not in favor of backing down on the <br /> park charge for condominiums. Mayor Hanson suggested that the City Attorney <br /> pursue this matter and report back to the Council on it. <br /> Ordinance The Council recently requested the City Attorney to draw up an ordinance <br /> #167 prohibiting glass containers in City parks. The City Attorney submitted <br /> Glass such an ordinance to the Council for their action. <br /> Containers <br /> In The Mrs. Scalze introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: <br /> Park <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 167 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2601 OF THE <br /> LITTLE CANADA CODE, SECTION 2601.060 BY ADDING PARAGRAPH 23, <br /> DEALING WITH PROFIIBITION OF BOTTLES AND OTHER GLASS CONTAINERS <br /> IN CITY PARKS <br /> The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> ayes (5) Scalze, Nadeau, Fianson, DeBace, Fahey. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Ordinance declared adopted. <br /> This ordinance appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 166. <br /> Park Closing As requested by the Council, the Attorney submitted to the Council an <br /> Hours ordinance setting the park closed hours at 1/2 hour before sunrise and <br /> 1/2 hour after sunset. <br /> Councilman Fahey stated that he was opposed to this as it makes people <br /> guess what time the park is closed. Fahey suggested that a specific <br /> time be set for closing the park. <br /> Page -lA- <br /> <br />
