<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> September 8, 1980 <br /> Mayor Manson stated that he feels the assessment should be deferred. <br /> In that way the City can always come back and assess it. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-9-337 - DEFERRING THE ASSESSMENT ON <br /> PARCEL #53-90280-010-03 IN TEIE AMOUNT OF $4,648.12 UNTIL <br /> SUCEI TIME AS THE 58 FEET OF FRONT FOOTAGE ON PAYNE AVENUE <br /> IS SUBDIVIDED FROM THE MAIN PORTION OF TI-IE PROPERTY <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) Fahey, Nadeau, Elanson, DeBace, Scalze. <br /> Naves (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Pages 220 and 221. <br /> Councilman Fahey stated that he felt the City should assess Mr. Paisley <br /> for two 75 foot lots. Fahey stated that $6,460.50 should be levied for <br /> each lot. <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-9-338 - ASSESSING THE 182 FEET OF PARCEL <br /> #53-03700-230-02 IN TEIE AMOUNT OF $12,921.00 FOR IMPROVEMENT <br /> N0. 79-1 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br /> ayes (5) Nadeau, Fahey, Hanson, DeBace, Scalze. <br /> Hayes (0 <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 221. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-9-339 - APPROVING AND ADOPTING TEIE <br /> ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR IMPROVEMENT N0. 79-1 AS PRESENTED <br /> WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PARCEL #53-03700-230-02 AND PARCEL <br /> #53-90280-010-03 WHICH HAVE BEEN SEPARATELY TREATED, <br /> INTEREST: 70%, INSTALLMENTS: 15 YEARS <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Nadeau, Hanson, DeBace. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book PIo. 6, Pages 222 and 223. <br /> Mr. Paisley again asked the procedure to follow for a hardship deferment. <br /> Councilman Fahey stated that the Council would need a letter or something <br /> with more information to act on such a deferment. Fahey also stated <br /> that the Council might be able to defer a portion of the assessment until <br /> the property is sold. page -12- <br /> <br />
