<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> September 10, 1980 <br /> State Attorney Rossbach stated that 'the attorney's office is investigating <br /> Regulations new state regulations pertaining to park charges. So far they have <br /> On Park been unable to find any new regulations. Ms. Rossbach stated that she <br /> Charges will continue to check into this. <br /> The City Clerk reported that so far the City has collected $14,800.00 <br /> from the Canabury Square Condominiums for park charges. The Fluer <br /> Royal has paid $100.00 in park charges thus far. <br /> Public The Engineer has reviewed the petition for the vacation of Jackson Street, <br /> Hearing which is the section running below the Homer DeLaurias property. Mr. Carley <br /> Vacation recommended that that section of Jackson be vacated. <br /> Of Jackson <br /> Street Mr. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-9-359 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING AT THE <br /> OCTOBER 8, 1980 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING TO CONSIDER THE <br /> VACATION OF JACKSON STREET <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) Hanson, Nadeau, DeBace, Fahey, Scalze. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 235. <br /> Development The City Engineer reported to the Council that Blaine Edmundson is planning <br /> Of Twin on beginning the development of Twin Lake Trail this fall. <br /> Lake Trail <br /> Councilwoman Scalze asked if the City has any requirements for the depth <br /> of a well. Mayor Hanson stated that the State does not have many <br /> regulations for wells. <br /> Council discussed whether it would be necessary to widen a portion of <br /> Twin Lake Road and whether or not the City had the necessary easements. <br /> Councilman DeBace stated that he thought the City might have enough <br /> easements, but that the people of the area will not want to pay for <br /> this improvement. <br /> No Parking Mayor Hanson commented that the no parking signs across from the <br /> Signs Fire Barns on Little Canada Road were taken down as the City requested <br /> Little the County to do. <br /> Canada Rd. <br /> Park Mayor Hanson reported that the Terrace Heights Trailer Court has a no- <br /> Street parking sign posted on the City's dedicated easement of Park Street. <br /> Easement Hanson further reported that a resident of the City received a parking <br /> ticket for parking on this public property. The property is City <br /> property and the trailer court has no right to post this road. <br /> Councilman Nadeau asked if the City ordinance covered setbacks for trailers. <br /> Page -12- <br /> <br />
