<br /> P1INUTES <br /> CITY CGUNCIL <br /> September 10, 1980 <br /> Councilwoman Scalze stated that the City ordinance states the side <br /> yard setbacks for a trailer are 10 feet and the front yard setback is <br /> 30 feet. <br /> Councilman DeBace stated that he felt it was a shame that because one <br /> person received a parking ticket the whole situation became a feud. <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-9-360 - ORDERING A LETTER BE SENT TO <br /> THE TERRACE HEIGHTS TRAILER COURT ORDERING THE TRAILER <br /> COURT TO REMOVE THE NO-PARKING SIGN THAT IS INSTALLED <br /> IN ThiE DEDICATED EASEMENT OF PARK STREET <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br /> ayes (4) Nadeau, Fahey> Hanson, Scalze. <br /> Hayes (1) DeBace. <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 236. <br /> Action Mayor Hanson stated that the City has received a letter from Action News <br /> News regarding the problems at the Last Chance Saloon. The letter also mentioned <br /> Letter the Sheriff's Department not responding to calls at the establishment. <br /> Hanson stated that Sheriff Zacharias wrote a letter showing the calls <br /> the Sheriff's Department has made to the Last Chance Saloon. <br /> Mayor Hanson stated that he would draft a letter responding to the Action <br /> News inquiry. <br /> Public The City Clerk reported that the Planning Commission has recommended that <br /> Hearings public hearings be held on variance requests. The City Clerk inquired <br /> for if he should set up a hearing date on such requests and perhaps eliminate <br /> Variances requests where it is obvious there is no hardship. <br /> The Council agreed with this. <br /> Schafer The Council was informed by Mr. Nadeau that the DNR has not make a report <br /> Land Fill to the City on the Schafer land fill request. <br /> Use Of The City Clerk reported that the City presently uses the parking lot <br /> Little and tennis court at the old Little Canada school building. <br /> Canada <br /> School Councilwoman Scalze stated that she would check with the School District <br /> Parking regarding these items and the pending sale of the school building. <br /> Lot <br /> Park Councilwoman Scalze reported that the Park Commission is recommending <br /> Dedication that the City obtain cash in lieu of land from St. Jude`s for their <br /> Fee park dedication fee. <br /> Page_13- <br /> <br />
