<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> September 10, 1980 <br /> Scalze also questioned which valuation the City should use in determining <br /> the park fee for St. Jude's. As the City rezoned the property, the value <br /> of the property has changed. <br /> The City Clerk reported that the value of the property only changes on <br /> the tax statement once the building is constructed. <br /> Councilman Fahey suggested that the City ask St. Jude's how much they <br /> paid for the property. Scalze commented that this is not what the <br /> ordinance says the park land dedication fee should be based on. Scalze <br /> further stated that the City should determine the State Law on this <br /> subject. <br /> Comprehensive <br /> Plan Mrs. Scalze reported that the Park Commission will be surveying the <br /> residents of Little Canada on the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Requesting Mrs. Scalze reported. that the Recreation Department has requested <br /> Bids- approval to call for bids on the specifications they have drawn up for <br /> Construction the construction of a new warming house at the hockey rinks near the <br /> Of Warming City fire Barns. The building will be 50 feet by 14 feet and have <br /> House concrete floor and block walls with a wood and asphalt roof. The warming <br /> house will be placed precisely where the old one was. The Recreation <br /> Department has $15,000 budgeted for the building. <br /> Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-9-361 - CALLING FOR BIDS ON THE <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF A WARMING HOUSE AT TFIE FIOCKEY RINKS <br /> NEAR THE CITY FIRE BARNS <br /> THE foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> ayes (5) DeBace, Hanson, Nadeau, Fahey, Scalze. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 236. <br /> Mrs. Scalze reported that the Recreation Department would like to put <br /> water in that building. The Engineer stated that if the water was put <br /> in with a large water project, the cost would be about one-half. <br /> 1980 Councilman Fahey reported that the 1980 audit contract between the City <br /> Audit and De La Hunt Voto & Co., Ltd. had a 10% increase over 1979. <br /> Contract <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-9-362 - APPROVING THE 1980 AUDIT <br /> CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA AND DE LA <br /> HUNT VOTO & CO., LTD. <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) Fahey, Nadeau, Hanson, Scalze, DeBace. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 237.
