MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> October B, 1980 <br /> Amending The <br /> <br /> Agenda Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-10-395 - AMENDING THE AGENDA TO HEAR ITEMS <br /> FROM THE FLOOR <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br /> Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Hanson, DeBace, Nadeau. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 257. <br /> Saad Mr. Joseph Saad, owner of The Last Chance Saloon, appeared before the Council <br /> Liquor to inform them that the sale of his business to Mr. Jerry Bjurstrom dicl not <br /> License go through. Mr. Saad would now like the license transferred to Mr. James <br /> Transfer Tulgren, who will be purchasing the business. <br /> The Attorney informed the Council that they will have to rescind their <br /> motion transferring the liquor license to Mr. Bjurstrom. The Attorney <br /> also asked Mr. Saad if he had a written release from Mr. Bjurstrom <br /> on the sale. Attorney Parks stated that the Council should have a copy <br /> of this release for their records. <br /> Councilman Fahey stated that if the license were transferred to Mr. Tulyren <br /> it would be subject to the same conditions that were placed on Mr. Bjurstrom, <br /> that is the requiring of a guard on Friday and Saturday evenings from <br /> 10:00 P.M. until 2:00 A.M. to patrol the premises. All patrons would also <br /> have to be off the premises by 1:30 A.M. <br /> Council decided to only require the guard until 1:30 A.M. as all patrons <br /> would have to be off the premises at that time. <br /> Mr. Tulyren asked that the liquor license be transferred into the name <br /> of J. S. & S. Inc. <br /> Mr. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. BO-10-396 - RESCINDING RESOLUTION N0. BO-9-350 <br /> TRANSFERRING ThIE SAAD LIQUOR LICENSE TO MR. JERRY BJURSTROM <br /> SUBJECT TO AN AFFIDAUST BEING SUBMITTED BY MR. SAAD TO THE CITY <br /> RELEASING MR. BJURSTROM FROM TI-IE SALE <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) Hanson, Nadeau, DeBace, Scalze, Fahey. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 257. <br /> Page -16- <br /> <br />
