<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> October 8, 1980 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> Ayes (5) Scalze, Hanson, DeBace, Fahey, Nadeau, <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 259. <br /> Local Mayor Manson informed the Council that Governor Quie has proclaimed <br /> Government October 21, 1980 to be Local Government Day. <br /> Day <br /> Dennis Mayor Hanson informed the Council that Dennis Ryan has requested a set <br /> Ryan back variance for a garage on the northwest corner of South Carla Lane. <br /> Set Back <br /> Variance The City Clerk indicated that Mr. Ryan's house is only 38 feet from the <br /> property line, and there would be no room for a garage. <br /> The City Engineer indicated that there is a large right-of-way for the <br /> road abutting this property, and it looks deceiving. It looks like <br /> Mr. Ryan has a large yard, but it is mostly right-of-way. <br /> Planning Councilman Nadeau indicated that Mr. Frank Winiecki has resigned from <br /> Commission the Planning Commission. <br /> Vacancy <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-10-400 - AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT OF <br /> THE PLANNING COMMISSION VACANCY CAUSED BY THE RESIGNATION OF <br /> MR. FRANK WINIECKI <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> Ayes (5) Nadeau, Scalze, Hanson, DeBace, Fahey. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 259. <br /> 12th Councilman DeBace recommended the approval of the 12th Rider Agreement <br /> Rider with the St. Paul Water Department so that a pipe can be run across <br /> Agreement the Water Department property into a ditch. <br /> St. Pa u1 <br /> Water Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> Department <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80-10-401 - APPROVING THE 12th RIDER <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE ST. PAUL WATER DEPARTMENT <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) DeBace, Nadeau, Hanson, Fahey, Scalze. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 260. <br /> Page -19- <br /> <br />
