<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> October 8, 1980 <br /> Vacation Mayor Hanson opened the public hearing on the proposed vacation of a portion <br /> Of of Jackson Street right-of-way from a point 481 feet south of the center <br /> Jackson line of County Road B-2 and abutting the westerly portion of Oakmont <br /> Street Condominium. <br /> Barbara Prail, President of the Oakmont Homeowners Association, appeared <br /> before the Council to state that the residents of Oakmont are in favor of <br /> the vacation. <br /> Mayor Hanson stated that the City has received a letter from St. Jude's <br /> stating that they were not opposed to the vacation. <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80-10-376 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON <br /> TFIE PROPOSED VACATION OF THE JACKSON STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br /> Ayes (5) Nadeau, Fahey, Flans on, Scalze, DeBace. <br /> Nayes (0 <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 246. <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-10-377 -APPROVING TFIE VACATION OF THE JACKSON <br /> STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY FROM A POINT 481 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER <br /> LINE OF COUNTY ROAD 6-2 AND ABUTTING THE WESTERLY PORTION OF <br /> OAKMONT CONDOMINIUM IN SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 29, RANGE 22, <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. DeBace. <br /> F~yes (5) Nadeau, DeBace, Hanson, Scalze, Fahey. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Res o1ution Book No. 6, Page 247. <br /> Condominium Mayor Nanson stated that the City published the notice of the public <br /> Conversion hearing to be held tonight on the City's Condominium Conversion Ordinance. <br /> Ordinance <br /> Councilwoman Scalze stated that it was because of State law that the <br /> City is holding the public hearing on the Condominium Conversion Ordinance. <br /> The City Attorney stated that the minutes should reflect that the Condominium <br /> Conversion Ordinance appears on pages 5 through 10 in the correspondence <br /> section of the agenda for tonight's meeting. <br /> Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80-10-378 - CLOSING TFIE PUBLIC HEARING ON <br /> THE CITY'S CONDOMINIUM CONVERSION ORDINANCE <br /> Page -3- <br /> <br />
