<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> October B, 1980 <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80-'10-379 - ORDERING THAT A COPY OF THE CITY'S <br /> PARK CHARGE ORDINANCE AS PERTAINS TO CONDOMINIUMS BE FILED <br /> WITH TFIE RAMSEY COUNTY RECORDER'S OFFICE <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> dyes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Hanson, Nadeau, DeBace. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 248. <br /> Deferred The Council is proposing to terminate the deferment of assessments on <br /> Assessments the McNamara property in the amount of $3,400.00. <br /> McNamara <br /> Property Mr. Dick McNamara appeared before the Council. Mr. McNamara stated that <br /> the improvements do not benefit the property and requested that the <br /> assessments be deleted. <br /> Councilman Fahey stated that at the time the assessments were levied, <br /> the question of whether or not the improvement benefited the property <br /> should have been discussed. Fahey stated that the assessments were <br /> levied =end, therefore, the improvement was deemed to have benefited <br /> the property. <br /> Councilwoman Scalze also pointed out that the property in question is <br /> not developed. <br /> Mr. McNamara asked if the assessment should be pro-rated between his <br /> property and the remaining property owned by Harry Rondeau. <br /> Fahey pointed out that at the time the property was split these assessments <br /> would have shown up in the abstract and Mr. McNamara would have been aware <br /> of the assessments on the property he was purchasing. <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-10-380 - TERMINATING THE DEFERRED ASSESSMENT ON <br /> PARCEL N0. 53-00600-090-75 IN ThiE AMOUNT OF $3,400.00, INTEREST <br /> 6% PER ANNUM, INSTALLMENTS 15 YEARS <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br /> Ayes (5) Nadeau, Fahey, Hanson, DeBace, Scalze. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 248. <br /> Page -5- <br /> <br />
