<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> October 8, 1980 <br /> Transfer Mr. Richard Boss III and Mr. P1ark Lendway appeared before the Council <br /> Of Tierney and informed the Council that they are purchasing the Tierney Liquor <br /> Liquor Store. Messrs. Boss and Lendway requested that the Tierney liquor <br /> License license be transferred to them. <br /> Mr. Boss stated that they may retain the Tierney name on the business. <br /> Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-10-384 - TRANSFERRING TO RICHARD BOSS IIT AND <br /> MARK LENDWAY,DOING BUSINESS AS TIERNEY LIQUOR, INC., THE OFF- <br /> SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE HELD BY TIERDIEY LIQUOR, INC. <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P4r. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (4) DeBace, Nadeau, Sca1ze, Fianson. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Mr. Fahey abstained. <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 250. <br /> Melchoir Mayor Hanson reported that the Melchoir's who live on Ely Road have <br /> Vacation requested the vacation of a 12 foot cartway easement running along <br /> Of Cartway their property, which is Parcel No. 53-00500-030-52. Mr. Melchoir <br /> Easement has indicated that this easement shows up in his abstract. <br /> Mayor Hanson further reported that the City does not find this easement <br /> on its section maps. Hanson stated that the Melchoir's will be checking <br /> out this easement further. <br /> Councilman Nadeau felt the Engineer should also look into the existance <br /> of this easement. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved 'its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-10-385 - TABLING THE MELCHOIR REQUEST FOR <br /> THE VACATION OF A CARTWAY EASEMENT PENDING FURTHER CLARIFICATION <br /> FROM THE MELCHOIR'S ON THIS EASEMENT <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) Fahey, Nadeau, Flanson, Scalze, DeBace. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book Plo. 6, Page 251. <br /> Jenny The City Clerk reported that Mrs. Costa would not be appearing at <br /> Costa tonight's meeting as previously scheduled. <br /> Matter <br /> Page -7- <br /> <br />
