<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> November 12, 1980 <br /> Councilman Fahey stated that there are 9 people for water and 9 people <br /> against it and most of the people are against the storm sewer. Fahey <br /> stated that he would be in favor of putting in the watermain, but that <br /> he is opposed to the storm sewer. Fahey also stated that he sees no <br /> reason to expand the street size. Mr. Fahey suggested that the City <br /> clean the ditches and get the County to participate in the cost. <br /> Mr. Erickson informed the Council to remember that it is government spending <br /> that causes inflation to rise. Government should hold their spending down. <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-11-417 - A RESOLUTION CLOSING THE PUBLIC <br /> HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT N0. 81-1, THE IMPROVEMENT OF COUNTY <br /> ROAD B-2 FROPi EDGERTON TO ARCADE BY blATERMAIN, S70RM SEWER <br /> AND STREET RESTORATION <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br /> Ayes (5) Nadeau, Fahey, Hanson, DeBace, Scalze. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book Plo. 6, Page 271. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-11-418 - APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF <br /> WATERMAIN ON COUNTY ROAD B-2 UNDER IMPROVEMENT N0. 81-1 <br /> AND DELETING TFIE STORM SEWER FROM IMPROVEMENT N0. 81-1 AND <br /> CLARIFYING THAT THIS APPROVAL DOES NOT CONTEMPLATE A 36- <br /> FOOT ROADWAY, BUT RATHER THE 24-FOOT ROADWAY THAT EXISTS NOW <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> Ayes Fahey, Scalze. <br /> Nayes (3).
