<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> December 10, 1980 <br /> Senior Mrs. Scalze informed Mr. Frattalone that the Council has previously <br /> Citizens had some discussion regarding the possibility of a senior citizen <br /> Housing housing development on his property in the area of County Road C. <br /> Frattalone <br /> Property Mr. Frattalone stated that he has about five acres in that area. The <br /> property does abutt the railroad tracks. <br /> Mr. Frattalone informed the Council that he has some plans for the property, <br /> but would like to talk to the Council regarding the senior citizen housing <br /> development before he proceeds any further with his plans. <br /> Maplewood The City of Maplewood had a variance meeting scheduled, however, that <br /> Variance meeting has been cancelled. <br /> Meeting <br /> The City Clerk reported that there are two or three Maplewood residents <br /> which have requested to hook up to City of Little Canada sewer. The <br /> Clerk has informed these people that they should contact the City of <br /> Maplewood with this request. <br /> Assessment The Engineer recommended the assessment reapportionment of assessments <br /> Reapportion- on two parcels located on Payne Avenue and one parcel in the Twin Lake <br /> ment Shores development. <br /> Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-12-468 - APPROVING THE ASSESSMENT <br /> REAPPORTIONMENT FOR DIVISIONS N0. 56304, NO. 56292, <br /> AND N0. 56153 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> {{yes (5) DeBace, Scalze, Fahey, Hanson, Nadeau. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Pages 301 and 302. <br /> Feasibility The City Engineer presented to the Council feasibility reports on the <br /> Report proposed Park Street and Lake Street. Mr. Carley reported that Lake Street <br /> Park Str. will be a very expensive street to build due to swampy area it would go <br /> and Lake through. <br /> Street <br /> Councilman Fahey suggested that this matter be tabled until the January <br /> Council meeting at which time the public hearing will be continued on <br /> these proposals. Notices will be sent to the property owners in the <br /> area that would be affected. <br /> Storage Mayor Hanson reported that some concern has been expressed regarding the <br /> Of 41ood storage of wood by Little Canada citizens. Hanson indicated that he would <br /> contact the Fire Marshall regarding this matter so that he can keep an eye <br /> out for any hazardous wood storage piles that might exist. <br /> Page -9- <br /> <br />
