MznurEs <br />City Council <br />January 7, 1981 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Sca1ze. <br />qyes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Flanson, Nardini, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 12. <br />Purchase Of Mayor Nanson reported that the City Clerk has suggested that brief cases <br />Brief Cases be purchased for the Council members, as they have a large volume of <br />paper and books to carry around with them. <br />Mayor Hanson and Councilpersons Scalze and Forsberg were the only <br />Councilmembers who wanted the brief cases. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-1-26 - AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br />THREE REASONA6LY PRICED BRIEF CASES FOR THE USE OF <br />COUNCIL MEMBERS FOR CFlRRYING WORK WITN THEM WITH TNE <br />UNDERSTANDING THAT THE BRIEF CASES WIL4 REMAIN CITY <br />PROPERTY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />/{yes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Scalze, Nardini, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 13. <br />Zoning Mayor Hanson requested that Council members review the City's Zoning <br />Ordinance Ordinance, particularly the chapters that pertain to signs, <br />The Sheriff's Department has recently ticketed some of the merchants <br />in Little Canada on their signs not complying with City Ordinance, <br />Job Councilman Forsberg stated that he would like to see job descriptions <br />Descriptions on City employees. <br />The City Clerk stated that this subject is on the agenda for the <br />regular Council meeting. <br />Rezoning The City Clerk announced that there will be a special Council meeting <br />Nearings on January 2II, 1981. At this time the City Planner will present to <br />the Council a schedule for holding the rezoning hearings that are <br />necessary for the City to be in line with the Comprehensive Plan. <br />Stenger Mr. Forsberg asked the status of the situation with the reupholstery <br />Mini-storage business being operated out of the mini-storage buildings on County <br />3uildings Road C. <br />The City Clerk reported that Mr. Stenger is out of town. 7he plan that <br />he submitted for the storage buildings does provide for one office. <br />Page -13- <br />
