MINUTES <br />City Council <br />February 11, 1981 <br />The C~ty Clerk pointed out that there is a cartway easement in this <br />area. The easement gives P1r. Col1ova access to his property. <br />The Mayor asked if Mr. Collova would need the approval of any government <br />agencies to do the filling he proposes. The City Clerk replied that he <br />does not. <br />Mr. Forsberg suggested that Mr. Collova come back to the Council showing <br />that he has access to the property in question and that he give the <br />Council a fill plan. <br />Utility Mr. Forsberg reported thai: at the present time the Utility Department is <br />Department short of help. The Utility Department has put Mr. Joe Steele on ~ <br />Report temporary part-time basis at a rate of $3.85 per hour. <br />Mr. Forsberg also informed the Council that at the next meeting he will <br />be coming in with quotations for a burg7ar alarm system for the garage <br />and for electric garage door openers for the City garage. <br />Forsberg stated that the Maintenance Garage needs some carpentry work <br />on the inside, with some partitions built and a room sectionecf off for <br />storage of water meters. The garage will also need some carpeting in <br />the office area and some tile. <br />Mrs. PJardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-2-79 - APPROVING TFIE REC,OMMEPlDATIOMS Of <br />MR. Also, another furnace may be needetl for the <br />Ma9ntenance garage. The one in the garage presently is not adequate. <br />to proper1y heat the garage. <br />Parks & Mrs. Sca7ze reported that the Recreation Department will hold a skating <br />Recreation party on february 14 from 1 to 3 P.M, <br />Report <br />Trapping Mrs. Scalze reported to the Council that there is a problem in Little <br />Qrdinance Canada with trapping. There is a person who is doing a great deal of <br />trapping in the City. hle is trespassing on other people's property <br />to do the trapping. Presently, Little Canada has no trapping ordinance, <br />and only enforces the State Game Law. The State Game Law only requires <br />permission from the property owner to trap on his property and marked <br />traps. <br />Page -18- <br />
