Mr. Zilge stated that he feels he has adequate access
for his property.
The City Engineer stated that the City should try to obta~in an
easement through the McGuff property for accesspurposes.
Mr. Zilge stated that there are plans for one storage building to
be developed on the P, & S property.
The Fngineer stated that the sewer situation cou1d remain as it is
presently, but when a gravity line goes in, it should service all
the property in this area.
Mrs. Nard~ni pointecl out that the Planner has indicated that this
is a critica1 situation that an industrial area has only one access.
Mr. Zilge expressed concern that the area would get a lot of through
traffic by opening up additional accesses.
The Planner stated that it is not necessary that an additional road
go in right away, but that the City shou7d obtain easements for the
development of a road in the future. The P1anner stated that the
road should go 9n wherever the City Engineer recommends it.
The Engineer recommended that the road go up the midd1e of the property
invo1ved, similar to the Planner's recommendation #1 in his report
dated March 31, 1981.
Mr. Bill Gervais stated that a road up the middle would not serve
his property due to the steep incline in that area. Mr. Gervais
stated that he does not feel there is an access problem in the area.
Mayor Nanson indicated that a lot of this revolves around the McGuff
property. Mr. Fahey suggested that the City Engineer could meet with
Mr. McGuff regarding this matter.
Page -11-
