MINUTES <br />City Council <br />April 15, 1981 <br />Mr. Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-4-1~8 - DECLARIDIG THAT THE LIGHT <br />INDUSTRIAL ZONING ON THE ANDERSON MOBILE HOME COURT ~E <br />RETAINED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (5) Forsberg, Nanson, Fahey, Scalze, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Reso1ution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 122. <br />Public P4ayor Hanson opened the pub1ic hearing on the propose~ rezoning of <br />Flearing the North Star Mobile Home Park and North Star Estates from L-I to <br />Proposed R-q zoning. The legal descriptions for the properties involved are <br />Rezoning as follows: Unp1atted Lands. S. 400 Ft. of E. 546.25 Ft. of N. 1/2 <br />North Star of NW 1/h of NE 1/4 (Subj. to Roads and Easements) in Sec. 6, T 29, <br />Estates Range 22. Parcel No. 53-00600-050-01; and Nadeau Addition. S. 2II0.5 <br />Mobile Ft. of W. 777.95 Ft. of N. 1/2 of MW 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Sec. 6, T 29, <br />Home Park Range 22 and in Sd. Nadeau Addition Lots 27 through 26. <br /> Mr. Husnick, one of the owners of the property involved, informed <br /> the Counc~l that he was opposed to the rezoning. Mr. Husnick stated <br /> that he woulci like the property to retain the Light Industrial zoning <br /> shou1d the sale of the property ever become necessary, or the property <br /> would have to be utilized for something other than a trailer park. <br /> Mrs. Nardini reported that Mr. John Vitale, another owner of the <br /> property, called her to say that he could not attend the meeting <br /> tonight, but would like to go on record as opposing the rezoning. <br /> Mr. Zoch, a resident of the area, stated that he did not oppose the <br /> Light Industrial zoning remaining. Mr. Zoch also expressed concern <br /> with the erosion of his property due to some grading done by the <br /> trailer park. <br /> Mr. Husnick stated that he would like to solve the problem by trading <br /> some property with Mr. Zoch. <br />Council stated that this was a private matter between Mr. Flusnick <br />antl Mr. Zoch that they should work out between themselves. <br />Mr. Forsberg asked how the tax base was figured on a mobile home park. <br />Mr. Hanson replied that the park owners paid the taxes on the land and <br />the mobilehomeowners paid the State taxes on the trailer. <br />Mrs. Scalze introducecl the folloti~ing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIOM N0. 81-4-189 - CLOSING TNE PU6LTC HEARING <br />ON THE PROPOSED REZONIPlG OF THE NORTH STAR MOBILE HOME <br />PARK AND NORTH STAR ESTATES FROM L-I, LIGNT INDUSTRIAL <br />TO R-4, MOBILE HOME PARK <br />Page -7- <br />
