MINUTES <br />City Council <br />April 22, 1981 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />/{yes (5) Forsberg, Fahey, Hanson, Nardini, Scalze, <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 133. <br />Hammond Mr. Bruce Folz, the land planner for the Hammond's, appeared before <br />Building the Counc~l requesting approval of a building permit for the Mammond's. <br />Permit Mr. Folz stated that the site plans and builtling plans have been <br />submitted. Also insurance policies have 6een submitted. <br />The Flttorney stated that all easements have been signed. Mr, Parks <br />stated that the insurance appears to be adequate. <br />Mr. Qurns Swetberg, the architect for the Flammond's, stated that they <br />have entered into a contract with Bolander for the construction of <br />pi19ngs. The contract requires that insurance protection be provided <br />for the adjacent properties. <br />Mrs. Nardini stated that the Watershed District required that they show <br />how they were going to compensate for the filling on the property. <br />Mr. folz stated that the clrainage is another matter. They are here tonight <br />for a building permit. <br />Mr. Fahey stated that they have comp1ied with all the requirements the <br />City placed upon them. The fill plan must be approved by the City Engineer. <br />Mrs. Nardini stated that the permit is not in order yet. They must first <br />show how they have compensated for the fill. <br />Mr. Folz stated that the City agreed to clean the ditch and pond, anci <br />'~his would compensate for the replacement fill. Mr. Fahey stated that <br />the City did agree to the c1eaning, but not to the extent that it wi71 <br />compensate for the fill going in on the property. Mr. Fo1z stated that <br />this is what will happen, and if more compensation is needed, the Hammond's <br />will make up the difference. <br />Mrs. Nardini asked if the cleaning of the ditch will compensate for the <br />fill. The Engineer replied that they will be taking more than 1500 yards <br />out of the ditch. <br />Mr. Fahey stated that he is satisfied and in favor of granting a permit. <br />Scalze also stated that she is not in favor of holding up the building <br />perm9t because of the Watershed District. <br />Mr. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-4-200 - GRP,NTING A QUTLDTNG PERMIT <br />FOR THE FIAMMOND RESIDENCE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />qyes (5) Hanson, fahey, Nardini, Forsberg, Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This reso1ution appears in ftesolution Book No. 7, Page 133. <br />Page -16- <br />
