MIMUTF.S <br />City Counci1 <br />May 13, 1981 <br />Sanitary The City Flttorney submitted to the Council for 'their approval a resolution <br />Sewer regarding the sanitary sewer easement at the Providences Apartments. <br />Easement There is a garage at the Providences that is encroaching on ~he City's <br />Providences easement, and the Providences would like assuranc.es that this garage would <br />Apartments not have to be removed, should the City have to work on the sewer in this <br />area. The Flttorney informed the Council that they approved this in the <br />past, but that this reso1ution puts it into the proper formfor the County <br />Recorder's office. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. II7-5-231 - APPROVING THE PROPOSED RESOLUTIQN <br />SUBMITTED 7Q ThIE COUNCIL BY THE CITY ATTORNEY REGARDING TFIE <br />SFlNITP,RY SEWER EASEMENT AT THE PROVIDENCES APARTMEPlTS <br />The foregoing reso1ut~on was duly seconded by Mr. Fianson. <br />Flyes (5) Nardini, Hanson, Forsberg, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nayes (O). <br />Reso1ution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 174. <br />Vacation Of The C.ity has been requested by the owner of Lot 10, B1ock 1 of Gervais <br />Utility Ridge Flddition to vacate a 10 foot utility easement loca.ted along this <br />Easement property. The City Flttorney reported that the City has vacated Althen <br />Along Flvenue which used to run along this property. and there would be no <br />Althen Ave. need for the City to maintain this utility easement. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its acloptlon: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-5-232 - VACATING TFIE PRIVFlTE UTILITY <br />EASEMENT LOCATED ALONG LOT 10, BLOCK 1, GERVAIS RIDGE <br />ADDITION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Ayes (5) Nardini, Forsberg, Hanson, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This reso7ution appears in Resolution Bool< No. 7, Page 175. <br />Krue,qer Mrs. Nardini reported that the Building Inspector made an error <br />Variance and issued Mr. Krueger a building permit for a garage. The permit should <br />Request not have been issued as Mr. Krueger needs a variance in order to construct <br />the garage as planned. <br />P~r. Krueger stated that the garage would be located 18 feet from the <br />street and there would be a fence between the garage and the street. <br />Several Councilpersons stated that they wou1d like to look at the Krueger <br />property before taking action on the variance request. <br />Water & Counc9l had discussion as to whether or not require individual sewer and <br />Sewer water connections for each of the units that Mr. Hughes of Hughes <br />Connections Construction is building on Ru~h Street. <br />Ruth Street <br />PUD Page -19- <br />
