MINU7ES <br />City Council <br />June 24, 1981 <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-6-310 - DIREC7ING THE CITY CLERK TO <br />OBTAIN A FE SIBILITY REPORT FROM A SIREN COMPANY ON THE <br />INSTALLATION OF A CIVIL DEFENSE WARNING SYSTEM IN THE <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini. <br />qyes (5) Sca7ze, Nardini, Hanson, Fahey, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 231. <br />Mr. Fahey suggested that the City Clerk should work with the Attorney and <br />Engineer to determine the City's position in requiring a second entrance/ <br />exit at the trailer park. Fahey stated that he would like this information <br />at the next Council meeting. <br />Fahey also suggested that the owners of the trailer park be invited to <br />the next Council meeting to discuss what they are doing with regard to <br />public safety and health. Fahey also stated that the court's water <br />system could be discussed. Fahey stated that he fett a private water <br />system that effects the number of people this one does should be up to <br />City code. Fahey also stated that a system for communicating shelter <br />information should a1so be discussed. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-6-311 - DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PlORK <br />WTTH THE CITY FlTTORNEY AND CITY ENGINEER TQ DETERMINE <br />b1HETHER OR NOT THE CITY IS IN A POSITION TO REQUIRE A <br />SECOND ENTRANCE/EXIT AT THE NORTH STAR MOBILE HOME COURT <br />OR TO DETERMINE IF THE CITY IS IN A POSITION TO SIMPLY <br />ORDER THA7 THIS ADDITIONAL ENTRFlNCE/EXIT BE PUT IN <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Flyes (5) Nardini, Forsberg, Fahey, Hanson, Scalze. <br />Nayes (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Pages 231 and 232. <br />The Attorney pointed out that the City could condemn the property and <br />put the road in and assess the cost to the trai1er park, If the <br />City does condemn the property, it will cost the City some money. <br />Sprospy The City Attorney reported that he wrote Mr. Sprospy a letter regarding <br />Land the condition of the ditch on his property. The Attorney stated that <br />Filling he l ooked at the ditch and Mr. Sprospy has d one a lot of work to clean <br /> the ditch out, however, in the process some dirt has been knocl<ed into <br /> the ditch. The Attorney suggested that the Gity keep an eye on the <br /> condition of the ditch. <br /> Mrs. Scalze stated that Mr. Sprospy does not have a fill permit, and <br /> the City shou7d find out if he is filling. <br /> Page -9- <br />
