MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 8~ 1981 <br />HOGGSBREATFI Mayor Hanson opened the public hearing prusuant to the Hoggsbreath <br />ADDITIONAL Conditional Ose Permit for off-site parking. He proceeded to read <br />PARKING the City Planner's recommendations regarding the proposed parking <br />lot. <br />Mr. Tom Duray appeared in behalf of the Hoggsbreath and statc~ he <br />had no objection to the recommendations of the Planner. <br />The City Planner discussed the berm with Lhe Council and Mr. <br />Duray. <br />Mrs. Peterson, 65 Demont, opposed the parking lot because of <br />debris and speeding cars. <br />A resident requested a stop and go sign on Rice and Demont. <br />The Council instructed the Clerk to address the Highway Depart- <br />ment to consider stop lights on Demont and Rice Street. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-7-335 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING <br />PURSUANT TO THE HOGGSBREF~TH CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />OFE-SITE PARKING. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze <br />Ayes (4) Hanson, Fahey, Forsberg and Scalze <br />Nayes (0) <br />Abstaining (1) Nardini <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in REsolution Book No. 7, Page 246. <br />The Council discussed the possible problems connected with <br />the parking lot proposal and the use of a security guard. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption; <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-7-336 - APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR HOGGSBREATH FOR OFF-SITE PARKING FOR THE SITE <br />DESCRIBED IN TFIE PLANNER'S RGCOMMENDATION AND ENTER INTO <br />A JOINT USE AGREEMENT WITH THE FLAMEBURGER AND PERMISSION <br />FROM WILLIAMS PIPE LINE. THE SIGNAGE REQUIREMENT, THE <br />SCREENING REQUIREMENT AND THE LANDSCAPING REQUIREMENT <br />SHOULD BE PRESENTED AT THE JULY 22ND MEETING, AND GRADING <br />PLANS SHOULD BE PRESENTED TO THE ENGINEER SO HE CAN <br />PROVIDE THE COUNCIL WITH HIS RECOMMENDA'LIONS. THIS <br />MOTION IS CONTINGENT UPON THE PROVISION OF THESE ITEMS <br />BY THE JULY 22ND MEETING WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THIS <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT WILL HAVE TO BE REVIGWED BY THE <br />COUNCIL NEXT JULY. <br />Page 4 <br />
