MINUTES <br />City Council <br />October 7, 19II1 <br />Raymond There are assessments on the following properties for sewer on the back <br />Berglund, portion of these properties: Raymond Berglund property, Richard Eagan <br />Richard Eagan,property, William Eagan property, Raymond Eagan property, William Dohmen <br />Wm. Eagan, property, and the Sauvageau property. <br />Raymond Eagan, <br />Wm. Dohmen & One of the property owners involved stated that there was no access <br />Sauvageau to the back portion of the property, and therefore the back portion <br />Assessments was unbuildable. <br />Mayor Hanson pointed out that the property is zoned general business. <br />The Engineer stated that the topography is bad in this area, however, <br />Viking Drive and Minnesota Avenue were built. The Engineer felt that <br />there is enough land that a road may go through one day and then the <br />property would be bui7dable. <br />Mr. Chlebeck stated that the area is zoned general business and the <br />houses are non-conforming. The Clerk stated that there have been similar <br />situations in the past where the Council levied the deferred assessments. <br />Mr. Sauvageau stated that the sewer does not run across the back of his <br />property. The Clerk stated that the sewer is on the corner of the <br />Sauvageau property, and therefore Mr. Sauvageau was assessed for the <br />improvement. <br />The Engineer stated that there is a manhole on the corner of the <br />Sauvageau property and Mr. Sauvageau has access to that manhole. <br />Mr. Fahey stated that any protests to the assessment should have been <br />made at the time of the assessment hearing. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-10-571 - CONTINUING THE DEFERRED ASSESSMENTS <br />ON THE FOLLOWING PROPERTIES: RAYMOND BERGLUND PROPERTY, PARCEL <br />N0. 53-25100-400-00 IN THE FlMOUNT OF $1,948.00; RICHARD EAGAN <br />PROPERTY, PARCEL N0. 53-25100-450-00 IN THE FlMOUNT OF $1,948.00; <br />WILLIAM EAGAN PROPERTY, PARCEL N0. 53-25100-460-00 IN TFIE <br />AMOUNT OF $1,9~8.00; RAYMOND EAGAN PROPERTY, PARCEL N0. 53-25100- <br />470-00 IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,948.00; WM. DOHMEN PROPERIY, PARCEL N0. <br />53-25100-391-00 IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,948.00; AND THE SAUVFlGEAU <br />PROPERTY, PARCEL N0. 53-25100-480-00 IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,948.00 <br />UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THESE PROPERTIES ARE TRANSFERRED, DIVIDED <br />OR DEVELOPED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />qyes (5) fahey, Scalze, Nardini, Flanson, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 373. <br />Page -15- <br />
