MINUTES <br />City Council <br />October 7, 1981 <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the folloti~ing resolution and moved its a~option: <br />RESOLU7ION N0. 81-10-585 - CONTINUING THE DEFERRED ASSESSMENT <br />ON THE JOHNSON PRO ERT , PARCEL N0. 53-30000-181-05, UNTIL <br />SUCH TIME AS THE PROPERTY IS TRAPISFERRED OR MR. JOHNSON <br />CONNECTS TO THE CITY WFlTER SYSTEM <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Flyes (5) fahey, Forsberg, Nanson, Nardini, Scalze. <br />Nayes (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 381. <br />Mr. Forsberg questioned if it were proper to levy interest against <br />this assessment as Mr. Johnson was not notified of the hearing. The <br />Attorney thought that the City could not assess the property unless <br />Mr. Johnson agreed with the assessment. <br />Mr. Fahey suggested that the Council levy the interest, even though it <br />may not be able to legally enforce it. <br />The Attorney stated that if Mr. Johnson objected, the Council could <br />rescind it. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOlUTION N0. 81-10-586 - LEVYING THE ACCRUED INTEREST <br />ON THE JOHNS N DEFERRED ASSESSMENT BEGINNING OCTOE3ER 16, <br />1981 <br />The foregorng resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Nardini, Fahey, Scalze, Forsberg, Hanson. <br />Nayes (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolui;ion appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 381. <br />Harry It was noted by the Council that Harry Rondeau could apply for a senior <br />Rondeau citizen assessment deferrment. <br />Flssessment <br />The City Clerk reported that the assessment was originally deferred <br />because there was no stub and the imoroverrent did not abutt the property. <br />The improvement now does abutt the property and the stub is in. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLU7ION N0. 81-10-587 - LEVYING THE ASSESSMENT ON THE <br />HARRY R0~lDEAU PROPERTY, PARCEL N0. 53-00600-050-75, IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF $1,548.81 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P4rs.
