MINUTES <br />City Council <br />October 14•, 1981 <br />The Attorney reported tnat Mr. Trobeck's attorney contacted him and <br />informed him that Mr. Trobeck would like to put a fence on the back <br />of his property. They were wondering where they could put the fence <br />w9th the drainage easement running along the back of the property. <br />Mr. Forsberg stated that the fence could be put on the property line, <br />that the swail at the back of the property would not amount to much. <br />Mr. Forsberg stated that Granada Nomes has not done anything with regard <br />to putting in this swail. <br />The Attorney stated that the City has the letter of credit on file and <br />if the City spends any money because Granada Homes fails to do something, <br />the City can collect this money with the letter of credit. <br />Mrs. Nardini informed the Council that the letter of credit expires on <br />December 9, 1981. <br />The Engineer felt that the swail would only take one day to be put in. <br />The Mayor commented that if the City attaches this letter of credit, <br />Granada Homes will get the work done quickly. <br />St. Jude's The Attorney stated that he has revised the St. Jude's PUD Flgreement <br />PUD three times, but has now completed the final revision. This should be <br />coming before the Council shortly. <br />Demont Engineer informed the Council that the County has contacted him regard9ng <br />Street the City's taking over Demont Street. The Engineer told the County that <br />he did not know the City's position on this. <br />Mrs. Nardini asked if the City would have to get a permit from the <br />County for water improvement on Demont. The Engineer stated that the <br />City alrea.dy has that permit. <br />Garske The Attorney reported that he obtained an easement from Nerb Garske. <br />Easement <br />Sanitary The Engineer submitted to the Council a feasibility report for sanitary <br />Sewer sewer improvement on Desoto from A11en Avenue to County Road D. The <br />Desoto estimated cost of such improvement would be $65,124. <br />Mrs. Nardini suggested that the Council inform Mr. Frattalone that the <br />City w911 not put such an improvement in until the area devetopes. <br />Mr. Hanson stated that he felt Mr. Frattalone would understand that the <br />Council does not deem it feasible to call for a public hearing on this <br />improvement unless he submits a petition to the Council. <br />Mrs. Nardini stated that she would not deem it feasible unless the senior <br />citizens in the area did not apply for deferrments. <br />Nlr. Forsberg stated that the City cannot justify spending this amount of <br />money for one property owner. <br />D~no -7~- <br />
