MINUTES <br />City Council <br />October 14, 1981 <br />County The Engineer reported that the County wants the City to assume responsibi1ity <br />Storm for the storm sewer on County Road C, as the City will be utilizing that <br />Sea~er storm sewer from Park Street. The Engineer did not feel that there would <br />Agreement be any problem with the City accepting this storm sewer. If the City <br />does not accept it, the County wi11 not allow Park Street to be hooked <br />up to it. <br />The Clerk asked if the City would be ab7e to bi11 the County for any <br />repairs or cleaning out that might have to be done on the sewer. The <br />Engineer replied that the City would be accepting maintenance and ownership <br />of the storm sewer and would not be able to bill the County. The Eng~neer <br />did say that there was very little repair work on a storm sewer, and this <br />storm sewer was not much more than a c~ilvert under the street. <br />Mr. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Resolution No. 81-10-614 - APPROVING 7HE COUNTY STORM SEWER <br />AGREEMFNT FOR COUNTY ROAD C <br />The foreyoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />qyes (4) Hanson, Forsberg, Scalze, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 399. <br />Ryan The City Clerk stated that the City has a resolution on the improvement <br />Assessment in Ryan Industrial Park that the assessments would go on the property <br />Agreement owned by Mr. Ryan. The City agreed to enter into an agreement to this <br />effect. <br />The City Attorney stated that Mr. Ryan should draw up this agreement and <br />the City Attorney would review it. <br />The City Clerk stated that he would send Mr. Ryan a letter to this effect. <br />Schletty The Engineer reviewed the tleferred assessments on the Fred and Agnes <br />Deferre~ Schletty property and the Marilyn and Frederick Schletty properties. <br />Assessment It was the Engineer's recommendation that the assessments for the main <br />sewer line on the property be deleted and the remainder of the assess- <br />ments remain deferred. <br />It was the concensus of the Council to continue to defer all the assessments, <br />as they could then be levied in the future, if the Council decided that <br />they should be. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-10-615 - CONTINUING TFIE DEFERRED ASSESSMENTS <br />ON THE FRED AND AGNES SCHLETTY PROPERTY AND THE FREDERIGK FlND <br />MAR-ILYN SCHLETTY PROPERTY WITHOUT ACCRUED INTEREST <br />Page -24- <br />
