f4INUTES <br />City Council <br />October 28, 1981 <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. II1-10-645 - AUTHORIZING THE METROPOLITAN <br />COUNCIL TO IMPLEMENT THE SECTION 8 MODERATE REHABILITATION <br />PROGRAM WITHIN THE CITY OF LI7'fLE CANADA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />qyes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Nardini, Scalze, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution dec1ared adopted. <br />This resolution appears.in Resolution Book No. 7, Pages 418 and 419. <br />Metro The Planner reported that the Metro Housing staff has requested the <br />Housing Council pass a resolution approving Little Canada's participation in <br />Staff a loan program for some type of assisted housing program. The Planner <br />stated that he would get more information on this program. <br />The Planner also stated that he could have someone Prom Metro Housing <br />come and explain the programs to the City. <br />Mayor Hanson asked the Planner to find out if the City has anyone <br />participating in these programs. <br />Edgerton Mrs. Nardini asked if the letter was sent to Minnesota Department of <br />694 Exit Transportation regarding the Edgerton 694 entrance/exit. <br />The Planner stated that a copy of the City's response on the Vadnais <br />Heights comprehensive plan was made a part of the City's Comprehensive <br />Plan that was sent to the Metro Council. <br />Mrs. Nardini stated that the chairman of the Metro Council suggested <br />that such a letter be sent to Mr. Braun at the Minnesota DQT. <br />The Planner stated that he would send a letter to the Metro Counci1 <br />and copy Mr. Braun. <br />Mr. Forsberg requested that the Council be copied also. <br />MacDonald's Mr. Nielson informed the Council that he spoke with the assistant manager <br />of MacDonalds as the manager was out of town. He asked that the manager <br />call him, which he did not. Mr. Nielson stated that he would stop by <br />MacDonald's tomorrow. <br />The Planner reported that beginning in November he will be in the office <br />the 2nd and 4th Monday's of each month for half days. <br />North Star The Planner stated that he has drafted a letter regarding the North Star <br />Estates Estates s~gn. He will be contacting the City Attorney on some questions <br />Sign he has on the letter. Mrs. Nardini :~uggested that the Planner also address <br />the fact that there is a mobile home located on this property. <br />Page -22- <br />
