MINUTES <br />City Council <br />October 2II, 1981 <br />Mr. Forsberg suggested that on a trial basis the skating rink could <br />do without a timer and if it is determined that it is needed, it could <br />be put in later. <br />Mrs. Nardini suggested that a letter be sent to the police informing <br />them of the time the skating rink closes and copy the ladies at Mary <br />Nouse. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduce~ the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTTON N0. 81-10-649 - FlrlFRDING THE BID OF f~JGGFlN ELECTRIC <br />IN THE AMOUNT Of 325.00 <br />The foregoing resolution was du1y seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Forsberg, Hanson> Nardini, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 421. <br />Slowpitch Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Softball <br />Tournament RESOLUTION N0. 81-10 650 - DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK <br />On Ice 70 SEND A LETTER TO RAMSEY COUNTY PFlRKS AND RECREFlTION <br />DIRECTOR 70NY CREFl REQUESTING AUTHORSZATTON fOR A SLOWPITCH <br />SOFTBFlLL TOURNAMENT ON THE ICE ON JFlNUARY 30 and 31, 1982 <br />AND REQUESTING ASSISTANCE OF THE COUNTY UTILITY DEPARTMENT <br />AND ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE SNOW REMOVFlL AND SURVEY <br />ASSISTANCE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />qyes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Scalze, Nardini, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 422. <br />Subdivision Mr. Fahey suggested that the subdivision ordinance should be amended so <br />Ordinance that the City does not require a$100 fee for a simple property division. <br />Fahey felt the fee was unnecessary. <br />Mrs. Scalze commented that when Rocky Waite camein for a property <br />division this was discussed and not everyone wanted it. <br />The Planner commented that a simple lot split could be handled dur9ng <br />office hours. <br />P4rs. Scalze asked why this was not done with Rocky Waite. <br />Vacation Mr. Fahey commented that the Council adopted a new vacation policy at the <br />Policy last Council meeting. Fahey stated that the Council changed the vacation <br />policy because they were led to believe that they had to change it. <br />Page -25- <br />
