MINUTES <br />City Council <br />October 28, 1981 <br />Mr. Hanson asked if the City had a fu11 time building inspector, if a <br />code enforcement office would be necessary. <br />Mr. Fahey stated that he did not care if the other Council people were <br />not prepared to vote on his suggestion. Fahey felt that the City was <br />not getting its money's wor~th. Fahey also felt that the Council had <br />longer and longer agendas because people were not getting their jobs <br />done. Fahey stated that the Council was only as good as the people <br />who support it. Fahey stated that he was wil1ing to defer the vote <br />until the Counci1 could think about it. <br />Mr. Forsberg stated that he was not in a position to judge the Attorney's <br />competence with regard to legal opinions. Forsberg stated that all he <br />was looking for is to speed th5ngs up. <br />Assessment Mr. Fahey 9ntroduced the fol1o~ing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Reapportion- <br />ment Div. RESOLUTION N0. 81-10-651 - APPROVING TFIC ASSESSMENT <br />No. 056998 REAPPORTIONMENT FOR DIVISION N0. 056998 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini. <br />qyes (5) Fahey, Nardini, Hanson, Scalze, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This reso1ution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 423. <br />Assessment Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Reapportion- <br />ment Div. RESOLUTION N0. 81-10-652 - APPROVING ThIE ASSESSMENT <br />No. 0569II7 REAPPORTIONPQENT fOR DIVISION N0. 056987 <br />The foregoing resolation was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />~yes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Scalze, Nardini, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This reso1ution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 423. <br />Return The Planner stated that Nughes Construction has asked if they could <br />Letter Of modify or reduce the plant materials on their landscape plan. The <br />Credit Planner stated that this would have to be decided by the City Council <br />Nighes and informed Mr. Hughes of this. Mr. Nughes decided not to do this <br />Construction if the Council would have to give approval. The Plannar suggested that <br />the letter of credit not be released until the landscaping is completed. <br />Return Of Gopher Properties has requested that their bond be returned. Mr. Fahey <br />Bond To asked if the City should send someone out to determine if the landscaping <br />Gopher has been completed. The Planner commented that he does not have a copy <br />Properties of the landscape plan. <br />Mr. fahey determined that the landscape bond expired on September 5, 1979. <br />Page -30- <br />
