MIMUTES <br />City Council <br />October 28, 1981 <br />Mrs. Nardini stated that the City should keep a file on these th~ngs <br />so that they are not allowed to expire without a determination if the <br />work has been completed. The City Clerk stated that this is now being <br />done. <br />Mr, Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIqN N0. 81-10-653 - AUTHORIZING TEIE RE1'URN OF THE <br />BOND TO GOPNER PROPERTIES <br />The foregoing resolution was du1y seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Nardini, flanson, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Reso1ution Book No. 7, Page 42~4. <br />The~ng Mr. Fahey introcluced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Vouchers RESOLUTION N0. 81-10-654 - APPROVING THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Forsberg, Ha;~son, Scalze, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0?. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 424. <br />Skating Mrs. Nardini asked the situation with obtaining water at the skating <br />Rink rink. <br />Mr. Forsberg suggested that Roger Glanzer could get a price from a <br />campany for hooking up to the existing watermain. <br />Mrs. Nardini statecf that she felt the electrical box and purchase of <br />the property was enough for this year. Nardini felt that if the work <br />was not inc1uded in the existing water projects, the Council should wait. <br />The Engineer stated that he was sure that the City could get a contractor <br />to put this in. <br />Lake Mrs. Nardini reported that she attended a meeting on the lake overflow. <br />Overflow The Metro Council has asked for two people to represent Little Canada <br />on this matter. Mrs. Nardini stated that one could be the City Clerk <br />and the other a Council member. Mrs. Nardini reported that it appears <br />there will still be a law suit on this mattar. Dlardini informed the <br />Council that she has requested Mr. Soldow to remove her name from the <br />lawsuit. <br />Mayor Hanson suggested that Mrs. Nardini be appointed as the City's <br />representative on this matter. <br />Page -31- <br />
