Hughes Construction
is asking for the return of their landscape bond.
The Planner reviewed the plan and the landscaping was done somewhat
differently than submitted on the plan. The Planner felt that the
difference did not reduce the effectiveness of the landscaping. The
Planner suggested that fiughes Construction be required to submit another
landscape plan showning the landscaping that is in place. In that iv~y
the landscap~ng can be rechecked in the Spring.
Mr. Forsberg questioned the steep bank in the area. The Planner
commented that this was a grading issue, not a landscaping issue.
North Star The Planner stated that he sent a letter ~o Mr. hiusnick regarding the
Trailer North Star Trailer Sales sign. He was informed that Mr, Flusnick does
Sales not own this property, The Planner, therefore, sent a letter to Mr.
Vitale who is one of the owners of the property and was informed that
Mr. Vitale is out-of-town, but would reply upon his return.
North Star
P~obile Home Mayor Hanson informed the Council that the City received a letter from
Court 8 residents of the trailer court opposing the City's recent action
on an additional exit/entrance at the mobile home court, Hanson pointed
out that there are about 21II units at the court, and ~ of them oppose
the City's action.
Mrs. Scalze felt that the letter was te1ling the City that the entrance/
exit should be located in one of the designated spots for that entrance
rather than where the City is planning on it going in.
The Attorney stated that the problem at the court was that the residents
were not given enough notice of an approaching storm.
Page -11-
