MINUTES <br />City Council <br />November 25, 1981 <br />The City Clerk expresseci concern that the property owner might think the <br />drainage easement was being vacated. The Attorney replied that it would <br />be clearly indicated that it was the utility easement that was being <br />vacated. <br />Mrs. Scalze suggested that the C1erk research the matter and fintl out if <br />the City has a drainage easement, M~yor Hanson agreed. <br />Twin Lake The Attorney suggested that the City pass a resolution instruct'ing the <br />Blvd State that the City does not want the State to sell the tax delinquent <br />. <br />Tax property on Twin Lake Blvd, In this way the City does not have to take <br />Delina <br />uent title to the property, hut may use i t for park land, If at some time <br />, <br />Property the City wanted to use it for senior citizen housing, the City could <br /> acquire the property at that time. <br /> The City Clerk pointed out that the City would have no liabiJity on this <br /> property. <br />The City Clerk pointed out that there is a road on this property that serves <br />a private property. <br />The Attorney stated that this is a road easement, and the City does not <br />have to maintain this road. The Flttorney also stated that the City would <br />always have first choice in obtaining the property. <br />Mr. Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOCU7ION N0. 81-11-670 - INFORMING THE STATE THAT THF CITY <br />Of LITTLE CANADFl DOES NOT WANT THE STATE TO SELL TNE TFlX <br />DELINQUEP?T PROPERTY LOCATED ON TWIM LF1KE BLVD. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />qyes (5) Forsberg, Scalze, Flanson, Nardini, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7> Page a~36. <br />Mary House The Flttorney reported that the Mary House land purchase has been concluded. <br />The deed has been sent for recording. <br />Flmending The <br />Agenda Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION M0. 81-11-671 - AMENDING THE AGENDA~ TO HEAR <br />TTEMS FROM THE fL00R <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconcled by Mr. Hanson. <br />qyes (5) Scalze, Hanson, Nardini, Fahey, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book P~o. 7, Page 437. <br />Page -17- <br />
