r~rr~uTEs <br />City Council <br />Plovember 25, 19£31 <br />LaMay Mr. LeRoy LaMay appeared before the Council requesting the assessment <br />Flssessment balance of ~3,22.6.05 be levied against Parcel B of his property, <br />Division <br />P~r. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLIlTION f~iC1. 81-11-662 - LEVYING THE ASSFSSMEDIT BALANCE <br />OF 3,226.05 FlGFlINST PA~CEL 6 OF THE LFlMAY PROPERTY AS <br />REQUES7ED BY MR. LEROY LAMAY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Nardini, Hanson, Scalze, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (O). <br />Reso1ution declared adopted. <br />7his resolution appears in Reso1ution Book ~lo. 7, Page 431. <br />f~oy Mayor Hanson welcomed the follo~~9ny Boy Scouts from Troop 285 to the Council <br />Scouts meeting: John Davis, PIe1s Peterson and. Peter Cuneo. Scout Master Jack <br />Davis was also in attenciance. <br />Granada The City has received a letter from Mr. Lunders of Payne Avenue regarding <br />Nlomes the drai nage work being done in the area of his home. Mrs. Scalze commented <br />Drainage that she called Mr. Lunders antl. informed him that the work was not being <br />Ditch done by the City. P~rs. Scalze informed Mr, Lunders that it is the 6uilder <br /> that is putting the ditch in. <br />Mr. Forsberg suggested that the matter be tabled until the December 9 <br />Council meeting as the ditch has not been inspected due to the weather. <br />Mrs. Scalze asked if the City was obtaining the easements from the builder. <br />The Attorney stated that the easements have been obtained from the builder <br />where he owns the land and the rest of the easements were obtairied from <br />the property owners. Mr. Parks si:ated that he thought he had all the <br />easements. <br />Mrs. Scalze asked why the City was getting the easements. Scalze thought <br />it was the builder's responsibility to obtain the easements. Mr. Forsberg <br />replied that the Council clecided to have the Flttorney involved in getting <br />the e~sements. <br />Mrs. Nardini asked if the City was in a position to charge the City <br />Flttorney's fees against the letter of credit the City is holding from <br />the builder. Mr. Fahey stated that he thought the Council had informed <br />Granada Homes that the City wou1d do this. Mr. Fahey stated that the <br />Attorney and Engineer should submit a bill for this work by the December <br />9 meeting and the charges could then be lev~ied against the letter of <br />credit. <br />Mr. Park suggested that perhaps the builder would extend the letter of <br />credit. <br />Mrs. Mardini pointed out that drafts against the letter of credit must <br />be presented by Decem~er 9. <br />Page -a- <br />
