MTNUTES <br />City Council <br />November ?5, 1981 <br />Mrs. Scalze felt that the City shou1d withho7d bui1ding permits for any <br />property that is owned by Granada hiomes on Payne Avenue. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION ~l0. 81-11-664 - DECLARING THAT ANY FURTHER <br />BUILDING PERMITS REQUESTED BY GRANFlDA HIOP~ES BE WITHHELD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini. <br />qyes (5) Scalze, Nardini, Hanson, Fahey, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in ResolutionBook No. 7, Page 432. <br />Little Connie F7ores has inquired if the building at 120 County Road C, Little <br />Canada Canada Chopper, could be used for a rental hall and issued a"set-up <br />Ghopper license". <br />Set-Up <br />License Mr. Hanson stated that the capacity of the building would not allow for <br />adequate parking under the City's ordinance. The Clerk stated that the <br />building would need 66 parking spaces. Mrs. Scalze pointed out that the <br />building only has 6 parking spaces. <br />Mr. Fahey instructed the City Clerk to write a letter to P~rs. Flores <br />informing her that the request could not be considered as there is <br />inadequate parking. <br />Kelbe Mr. Andrew Kelbe appeared before the Council expressing concern that <br />Matter he was issued a building permit for his property antl was then ordered <br />to stop construction. <br />Mrs. ~lardini commented that Mr. Kelbe is putting a second building on <br />a property without a property division. Mrs. Nardini stated that the <br />building permit was issued to Mr, Kelbe in error. Mrs. Nardini stated <br />that she informed the Building Offi~a.lof the situation and he, in turn, <br />informed the contractor to stop construction. <br />Mr. Fahey informed Mr. Kelbe that the City has an ordinance tha~ prohibits <br />two buildings on one lot. <br />P1r. Kelbe pointed out that the Gordy Nadeau property has two houses on it. <br />Mrs. Nardini informed Mr. Kelbe that the Nadeau property is two separate <br />lots. The Nadeau property will be combined into one lot when one of the <br />structures is removed. <br />Mr. Flanson stated that in the Kelbe situation there is a house without a <br />public road. Mrs. Nardini stated that this situation was in existance <br />before the ordinance. <br />Mr. Kelbe informed the Council that he would like to leave the cabin on <br />the property until Mrs. Kelbe passes away. Mr. Kelbe stated that he has <br />a lease agreement with his aun~, Mrs. Kelbe, that she can use the cabin <br />for her 1ifetime. <br />Page -7- <br />
