MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Decemher 9, 1981 <br />Gagne Nlr. Gagne recently wrote a letter to the City requesting an opportunity <br />P~atter to meet with the Council to discuss his s~tuation. The Attorney stated <br />that the Counci1 cou1d only discuss the Gagne letter, but should not <br />discuss any of the details of the litigation. <br />Mr. Forsberg stated that he wou7d be willing to talk to Mr. Gagne. <br />Forsberg stated that Gagne was in Germany at the time most of this <br />occurred, and did not realize just how far everything went. <br />Mr. Fahey stated that he is wi1ling to talk to Gagne. Fahey also stated <br />that Mr. Gagne should come in and apply for ~ conditional use permit. <br />Council decided to have a closed door meeting on the Gagne litig~tion <br />following the Council meeting. <br />Senior The Attorney submitted to the Council a model ordinance he put together <br />Citizen covering senior citizen deferrments. The Attorney asked the Council to <br />Deferrments go over the various definitions of a hardship and then tell him which <br />one the Council wants included in the ordinance. <br />Counci7 will review this proposed ordinance. <br />Park Mrs. Nardini reported that there are two vouchers in City records each <br />Street for $1,000 to Mr. Conway and Mr. Behr. Mrs. Nardini stated that she <br />Easements thought the Flttorney stated that nothing was paid for easements on <br />Park Street except to Messrs. Johnson and Villeaux. Nardini commented <br />that she thought Conway and Behr granted the City their easements in <br />exchange for the City's granting them a variance in the future for <br />the development of their property. Each of these men may have a lot <br />that will fall just short of ineetin~ City Code. <br />Mr. Parks replied that this took place before the road was redesigned. <br />The $1,000 payments to each of these men was for property that the City <br />took title to. These gentlemen sold the property to the City for 50 cents <br />per foot. <br />Mr. Fahey pointed out that this money was charged against the job. <br />Flddendum The Flttorney submitted to the C.ouncil the addendum to the Sheriff's <br />To Sheriffi's contract that the Council recently requested. <br />Contract <br />Mr. Fahey felt that the addendum covered what the City had asked for, <br />but suggested that the addendum be changed to include any federal <br />funding that the City might receive. <br />Fahey also stated that the City should put this addendum in all future <br />contracts. <br />Page -1~- <br />
