The Planner has suggested to Mr. Mue1ler that the property <br />involved should be combined, and Mr. Mueller said that he had no <br />problem with dorng so. The structure will be two stories and basically <br />of earth-sheltered design. There are two parking areas and two dr~veways. <br />The building will house a highly specialized medical transport operation. <br />There would seldom if ever be ambulances leaving with their sirens on. <br />It is a more planned transport operation. <br />The P1anner felt that the heliport should be shown on the plan. 7he <br />helicopter would be lancied on a dolly antl. the dolly wou1d be moved into <br />the building each night. <br />The Planning Commission has indicated that they wou7d like to see the <br />location of the fuel tanks. <br />The Planner stated that he does not feel there willte a problem in terms <br />of DOT guidelines. <br />Mr. Hanson instructed the Planner to copy the Council and the City of <br />Maplewood with his report on this proposal. <br />Fran The C.ity Clerk recommended that the North Star f_states matter be tabled <br />Husnick until Mr. Fran Husnick arrives. <br />Granada The Engineer indicated that he has written a letter recommending the <br />Homes acceptance of the swail in the Payne Flvenue Flrea. The swail is <br />complete and acceptable. <br />Mr. Hanson indicated that the fees of the Attorney and Engineer had <br />to be calculated and deductetl from Granada Homes' letter of credit. <br />Mr. Hanson asked if there has been any contact with Mr. Garske. <br />The City Clerk statecl that he has not written to Mr. Garske yet. <br />Mrs. Scalze asked for an up-date on the easements for the swail. <br />The Engineer stated that most easements are 20 feet and only 2 are 10 <br />foot easements. <br />The Attorney stated that some of the easements were turned in to the <br />City from Granada Homes. The Attorney stated that he did not know <br />9f all the easements were in. The Attorney stated that he doubted that <br />the City has the easements from Garske. <br />The Engineer indicated that Granada Homes had 26 lots and Mr. Garske had <br />4. <br />A representative of Granada Homes stated that the Council approved 10 <br />foot easements in this area and, therefore, Granada Homes to1ci some oP <br />the people signing easements to change the easement to 10 feet. <br />Page -3- <br />
