MINUTES <br />City Council <br />January 27~ 1982 <br />MGM Mrs, Scalze commented that she was not in favor of acting on the <br />(Cont,) industrial revenue bonds be£ore the Council acts on approval of the <br />proposal itself. Scalze also comnented that iP the Planner and Clerk <br />feel replatting is necessary~ that is what the City needs. <br />The Planner stated that the replatting would c].ean up the area and <br />would get the City any easements that would be necessary, <br />Fahey suggested the Council call for the hearing and between now and <br />the 2L~th the ~hgineer and Planner could study the issue of the road. <br />Mr. Brody commented that on February 21~th Viking Yartnership would be <br />making a full presentation of the proposal to the Council, <br />[~rs. Scalze suggested that Mr, grody study the City~s park land <br />dedication ordinance to aee what will be required with this proposal. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following r~solution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLU7.'ION N0. 82-1-43 - Oiu,L.[NG FOR A PUBLIC HEARING <br />ON F'BRUhRY ~ 9 AT 7:30 P.M, ON THE PROPOSAI, FOR <br />A COMMERCIAL FACTLITIES DEVEliOYMENT PROJECT PURSUANT <br />TU THE MINNESOTA MUNICIYAZ INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT <br />AUTHORIZII~IG THE PUBLICATION OF A NOTICE OF SAID HEAFtING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini, <br />Ayes (5) Fahey~ Nardini, Scalze, Forsberg, Hanson, <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted, <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 8~ Pages 23 and 2ly, <br />The Planner commented that he cannot study the road issue until he <br />has the topography information on the property. This infozmation is <br />submitted as part of the plat. <br />Mr. Fahey suggested that the City Engineer may have topography information <br />on this property. <br />Hanson commented that until the plat is submitted the City has no idea <br />of where the building will be placed. <br />Fahey suggested that Viking Partnership do the work and get this <br />information for the City. <br />Mayor Hanson informed 2~Ir, Brody to provide all the information he can <br />to the Planning Commi.ssion on this prpposa7„ <br />Mr. Brody stated that it will not be possible to have the £ormal plat <br />xeady for the Planning Commission meeting, The Planner informed the <br />Council that he has suggested that Viking Partnership prepare a sketch <br />plan of tne plat for the Ylanning Commission. <br />Page -1~.~ <br />
