iYiINUTE5 <br />City Council <br />January 27~ 1982 <br />Mr. Forsberg comraented that the property is only two blocks :LOng <br />and another road would not help the trai'i'ic situation, Forsberg <br />did not Pavor connecting another road to Viking Drive, <br />Nirs. Nardini and Mr, Fahey commented that they felt the situation <br />should be looked at, <br />Mr. Brody commented that they would rather not have the road in the <br />area, <br />F'ahey stated that he wanted more information on this. <br />The City Clerk inf'ormed the Council that there is an old thoroughfare <br />pian for the area that does ca11 for an additiona.L roaa through the <br />middle of this property. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the foltowing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. tf2-1-44 - LNSTRUCTTNG THE CITY PLANNER~ <br />NGI E R D C1Y'X LERK TO INVESTIGATE THE POSSiBILITY <br />OF AN ADll1TI0NAL RpAD pNp STOP LIGH`P IN ADDITION TU THE <br />DRAINAGE SS5UE IN CONNECTION WITH THE VIKING PAR1'NERSHIY <br />PROPOSAI, TO THE EXTENT YUSSIBLE BY THE FEBRUAftY 24~ 1y82 <br />COUNCIL MEETING AND WITH THE ~URTHEH 1NSTRUCTIONS THAT <br />THSS WUHK NOT BE DO1vE UNTIL VIKING PAH7'NERSHIP HAS (;uMPLETED <br />THEZR PI,AT'IING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr, Fahey, <br />Ayes (u) Nardini, Fahey, ~~~~~g Hanson. <br />Nayes (1) Forsberg. <br />Resolution declared adopted, <br />'I'nis resolution appears in Resolution }3ook No, tS, Yage 2ty, <br />Ylanner~s The next items on the agenda are consiqeration of the Planner~s <br />Contracts Professional Planning Services Contract and Zoning Administration <br />Assistance Contract.
