The Council wi11 review the position in six months. Mrs. <br />Nardini commented that the time is very slack in the Building Inspection <br />Aepartment at present. <br />Mr. F'orsberg stated that the $1$0 is a bonus for accepting more <br />responsibility. <br />Mr. Chlebeck commented that the past ivonday he and the Plaruxer, Attorraey <br />and City~s Building ]:nspector met to set a system of who is to handle <br />what, St was the resu:lt of the meeting that the 13uilding Irispector will <br />handle everything except plats and subdivisions. These will first be <br />reviewed by the City Clerk. Also, i£ the Buiiding :Cnspector has a <br />problem with anything, he will contact the Ylanner. Also the landscape <br />plans will be reviewed by the Ylanner. <br />Maplewood The Lngineer reported that there has been a request for sewer service <br />Sewer from Little Canada for five homes located in Maplewood in the area <br />Connections o£ Arcade Street, Keller Parkway and the Palmy Subdivision. The <br />Engineer estimated that cost of the sewer a.n that area at $1~6,000. <br />The Ehgineer also estimated that there are 95 existing connections in <br />that area and a potential of :1J.~2. }3ased on this projection, the <br />E:ngineer suggested that the NTap:lewood connections be charged $330 per <br />house, The Engineer also stated that the City of Maplewood would have <br />to enter into an agreement with liittle Canada covering costs of <br />repairs to that line. The SAC chargos would be collected and paid to <br />the City o.f D1apl,ewood. <br />The Engineer and the Yublic Works Superintendent discussed the type <br />of ],i£t station on County Road -••2 axid some o£ the problems the City <br />is having with this station, <br />The Lngineer commented that they are considering raising the manhole <br />and suggested that possibly a holding tank could be installed. The <br />cost of a holding tank would be about $8,000. <br />NIr. Glanzer commented that he did not feel a holding tank would be the <br />solution to the ~roblem, <br />The Ehgineer commented that Metro Sewer is selling the bonds for their <br />interceptor line and will be intexviewir~ engineers for the project <br />shortly, They are planning on goin~ down County Road I3-2 with this <br />line and it will el,irninate the lii't station. The Engineer commented <br />that he should know more about Metrots plans shortly. <br />Glanzer stated that the repaira they are planning to do on this lift <br />station in the Spring should carry the City £or a few more yeaxs. <br />Yage -2» <br />
