MINUTES <br />City Counci:L <br />February 10, 1982 <br />Tree <br />Contract <br />(Cont.) <br />Dis~bled <br />Persons <br />Assessment <br />Deferrals <br />North Star <br />Exi.t <br />ADDITIONAL CHARGE WHEN IN THE JUDGMENT OF' THE TREE <br />INSPECTOR THE TREE REQUIRES TOPYING OR HAS DIFFICULT <br />ACCESS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (3) Hanson, Fahey~ Scalze. <br />Nayes (2) Forsberg, Nardini. <br />Resolution declared adopted, <br />`Phis resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 8, Pages 37 and 38. <br />The City Clerk asked the Tree Inspector if he gave estimates to people <br />requesting tree removal. The Tree Inspector replied that he da.d. <br />The Clerk commented that he knows of one case where the estimate was <br />about $!~0 less than the actual bill, <br />The Tree Inspector stated that he tries to include the price of topping <br />in the estimate just so that this cost will not be a surprise i£ the <br />tree needs to be topped, <br />Mrs, Nardini suggested that Mr. Aorwath get out with the contractor <br />if there appears to be a problem, <br />Mr. Fahey introducsd the £ollowing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESpLUTION N0. 82-2-63 - AUTHOI2I'LING DEFLRRALS OF <br />SYECIAL ASSESSMENTS F'OH CERTAIN DISABLED PERSONS <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. S, Page 38 and Page 39. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey~ Scalze~ Nardini, Forsberg, <br />Nayes (1) HarASOn. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Ntr. F'ahey suggested that the Council refer the matter of an additional <br />exit/entra~Geat North Star Estates trailer court to the new City <br />Attorney and have him contract North 5tar Estates. <br />It was gointed out that the agreement on this entrance was to have <br />been finalized within 60 days o£ the December 9, 1981 Council meeting. <br />Mrs. Nardini informed the City Attorney that the Counci]. has had <br />conflicting reports on shat is a~•lowable in the requirement of the <br />removal of a trailer from a trailer court. <br />Mr. Fahey infoxmed the City Attorney that the Council aecepted the <br />condition that as soon as Mr. Husnick is able to relocate Mrs. Breeding, <br />that is when she would be moved and the additiona]. entrance put in. <br />NIr. Fahey asked the Gngineer if he reviewed the letter £rom Mrs. Breeding <br />regarding the location of the pipe, The Engineer replied that he did <br />and the Ci.ty was always aware that more pipe would be needed onoe the <br />Page -3- <br />
