Mr. Hanson reported that the correspondence from the Fire Department <br />Correspondence is for Council information. Hanson reported that he will go over <br />this with the City C],erk. <br />F'ire Dept. Nardini. <br />t~ye5 ~y) Scalze, Nardini~ Hanson, Forsberg, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No, 8, Page 40. <br />Fire Mrs. Nardini indicated that a motion is in order to appoint Mr. <br />Marshall Ed Locke as the City~s I'ire Marshall at a salary af $150.00 per <br />Appointment month. <br />Nlr. Fahey asked if this was with the understanding that the Fire <br />Marshall duties were not to be performed during the time that Mr. <br />Locke is per£orming his duties as tiuilding Inspector. Fahey also <br />stated that if this was not the case, he was not in £avor o£ <br />the City paying atiIr. Locke an additional ~150 per month, <br />NIr. F'ahey suggested that if the position takes time ovex the 24 <br />hours per week spent in building inspection~ he would be w9.lla.ng <br />to pay Mr. Locxe on an hourly basis. <br />Mrs, Nardini commented that the position was discussed with Mr. <br />I,ocke and he will give the F'ire Marshall position the time that <br />is needed. <br />Page ..L~- <br />
