Mr, Fink stated that actua7. experience wi17. <br />answer the questions raised wath regard to the road, <br />Mr. F'ahey stated that that was fine with him as ],ong as the City <br />gets it in writing that by approving the overlaying of the road <br />the City a.s not aceepting the road, It is still Mr. Ryanas road. <br />Mr, Fink sta.ted that then Ntr. Kyan wou].d have the power to obstruct <br />the road if he chooses, Mr, Fahey si~~ted that it is a road dedicated <br />to the public~ but not accepted by the City. <br />The Engineer commented that the condition of the road is not all that <br />bad, Nlr, Ca.rley suggested that the City could do no maintenance on <br />the road and wai.t for the property owners in the area to petition <br />f'or improvements. <br />Mr. F'ahey stated that i.n the agreement it should state that the City <br />is not accepting the road and Mr. Ryen agrees to accept a11 maintenance <br />costs qn the road £or the next two years~ at which ti.me the C.ity will <br />take another look at accepting the road< Mr. Ryan stated that this <br />sounds reasonable to him. <br />I~rso Nardini pointed out that the City already has a motion on the <br />books which states that xio addit3onal buil.ding permits are to be <br />issued until the overl.ayi.ng is done and the curbs in. <br />Mrs Pat Peterson of Peterson Ma~-ntenanee appear~d beYore the Co~cil <br />commenting on the condition of the economy, <br />Mr, Fox•sberg informed Mr, Peterson that the Ci,ty has treated Mr, Ryan <br />very fairly for a long time and that Mxo R,yan has made a lot of <br />promises to the City that he has not yet ful£il].ed, Mr. R,yan was <br />also given a couple of building permits after the City passed a <br />resolution saying no more caere to be issued until the overlaying <br />was campleted„ <br />Mr, Peterson informed the Council that the road is not in that bad <br />of shape. <br />Mrs, Scalze stated that Mr, Ryan ha.s received a fair shake from the <br />Council. <br />Page -1.0» <br />
