However, the City woulci probably <br />have to go to court for the r.emedy. <br />The City Clerk suggested that the Council gi.ve Mr.. Garske a couple <br />of ~aeelcs on the matter as the Ci.ty just recently sent h~.im another <br />letter about i.t. <br />hfrs. Scalze stated that she thou~ht the City could go i.n anyCime it <br />wanted and assess the cost a~ainst the property. <br />The Attorney stated that Che Ci.ly can do the wor.lc but under ChapCer <br />429 the City must hold publi.c hearings in order to assess a property. <br />The Attorney asked what the Council. thought it would cost to do Che <br />worlc. Mr. P'orsberg replied that he did not thi.ntc it would cost more <br />than $500. <br />Mr. Han,on suggested that the AtCOrney be directed to ca11 Mr. Garslce <br />and ask him his i.ntentions. <br />~lrs. Nardini suggested that the City withbold building permits on the <br />other two loCS until the situation i.s remedi.ed. P9r. I'ahey stated that <br />hir.
