MINUTES <br />City Council <br />August 25, 1982 <br />Mr. Hanson directed the City Attorney and the City Clerk to see <br />what expenditures are available to at least set up a skeleton <br />plan. He also requested an inventory of what is available to <br />us. <br />Youth Service Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />Bureau adoption: <br />Item No. 1d <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-8-431 - REQUESTING THE COUNCIL <br />TO GO ON RECORD SUPPORTING THE YOUTH SERVICE <br />BUREAU AND THAT THE CLERK SEND A LETTER ON <br />BEHALF OF THE COUNCIL URGING THE COUNTY BOARD <br />TO RENEW THE YOUTH SERVICE CONTRACT FOR 1983. <br />The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Scalze, Nardini, Forsberg. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 8, Page 379. <br />Hammond Mr. Carley reported on the Hammond land fill. Our part of this <br />Land Fill project will end this week. From then on he will deal with the <br />Item No. 1y Watershed District. <br />Assessment Mr. Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />Reapportion- adoption: <br />ments <br />Item No. "LO RESOLUTION NO. 82-8-432 - APPROVING THE FOLLOWING <br />ASSESSMENT REAPPORTIONMENTS: <br />DIVISION NO. 057580 D/P 0070 AUD 1229 <br />DIVISION N0. 057580 D/P 0073 AUD 1303 <br />DIVISION NO. 057563 D/P 0068 AUD 1205 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (5) Forsberg, Hanson, Fahey, Scalze, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0) <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 8, Page 3~0. <br />Feasibility Mr. Carley presented the feasibility report for Sewer, Water <br />Report and Street Improvement for Woodlyn Ave. east from Rice Street. <br />Woodlyn Due to the relatively high cost of this improvement and because <br />Item No. 21 there is a lack of benefitted property he does not think this <br />is economically feasible unless it could be combined witli other <br />streets in the area. <br />Mr. Chlebeck suggested that an application could be made for an <br />Industrial Development Grant to pay for a portion of this improve- <br />ment. <br />Page -7- <br />
