MINUTES City Council August 25, 1982 Mr. Hanson directed the City Attorney and the City Clerk to see what expenditures are available to at least set up a skeleton plan. He also requested an inventory of what is available to us. Youth Service Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its Bureau adoption: Item No. 1d RESOLUTION NO. 82-8-431 - REQUESTING THE COUNCIL TO GO ON RECORD SUPPORTING THE YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU AND THAT THE CLERK SEND A LETTER ON BEHALF OF THE COUNCIL URGING THE COUNTY BOARD TO RENEW THE YOUTH SERVICE CONTRACT FOR 1983. The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. Ayes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Scalze, Nardini, Forsberg. Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 8, Page 379. Hammond Mr. Carley reported on the Hammond land fill. Our part of this Land Fill project will end this week. From then on he will deal with the Item No. 1y Watershed District. Assessment Mr. Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its Reapportion- adoption: ments Item No. "LO RESOLUTION NO. 82-8-432 - APPROVING THE FOLLOWING ASSESSMENT REAPPORTIONMENTS: DIVISION NO. 057580 D/P 0070 AUD 1229 DIVISION N0. 057580 D/P 0073 AUD 1303 DIVISION NO. 057563 D/P 0068 AUD 1205 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. Ayes (5) Forsberg, Hanson, Fahey, Scalze, Nardini. Nayes (0) Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 8, Page 3~0. Feasibility Mr. Carley presented the feasibility report for Sewer, Water Report and Street Improvement for Woodlyn Ave. east from Rice Street. Woodlyn Due to the relatively high cost of this improvement and because Item No. 21 there is a lack of benefitted property he does not think this is economically feasible unless it could be combined witli other streets in the area. Mr. Chlebeck suggested that an application could be made for an Industrial Development Grant to pay for a portion of this improve- ment. Page -7-
