The cos[ of. watermai.n and street restoration <br />Petiti.on from Reidmond to the cul-de-sac on Uianna Lane is esti.mated at <br />$134,519. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 10 The Ci.ty Clerk pointed ouL- that i.f a lot i.s not benefited by the <br />water, i.t cannot be assessed. 'I'he engi.neer replied that tlte abi.liCy <br />to ~oater a lot would be consi.dered a benefi.t. <br />Mrs. Scal.ze pointed out that the City declared Outlot A as unbuildable. <br />'The t.np,i.neer reported T.hat Dianna Lane has many odd shaped lots and <br />varying fronta~es. Therefore, he came up wi.th an average assessmen[ <br />per 1ot of $4,640. The Engineer is also proposing a completely new <br />street rather than a patch job. 'Lhe F:,ng:ineer reported that the Ci.ty <br />has received complainCS when a street is patched foll.owing the <br />i.nstallati.on of watermain. <br />Y4rs. Scal.ze commenCed that Dianna Lane is a~ood street. Scalze <br />questioned why the stree[ should be redone. <br />Mr. Pahey commented that if the residents want co pay f.or the new <br />street tlier.e i.s nothi.ng wrong with that.
