CUSTOMER IMPACT ANALYSIS:

HOW DO WE COMPARE:
The below information was compiled by using six neighboring cities that are purchasing wholesale water
from SPRWS. Four of these cities (St. Paul, Mendota Heights, Maplewood, Falcon Heights) do not own
their water infrastructure and they do not manage an enterprise water fund or bills its residents for water
services, rather the water is billed directly to residents by SPRWS. Two of the cities (Roseville and Arden
Hills) own their water infrastructure, operate its own enterprise water fund and are billing its residents
similarly like Little Canada.

Note: that 2024 current rates have been used for comparison purposes since 2025 rates are not available.
The yellow bar is Little Canada’s 2024 rate, and the green bar is the proposed 2025 rate.

Little Canada’s water rates for winter and summer are the lowest, when comparing in 2024. The analysis
assumes a quarterly water usage of 12,000 gallons.
