Assessment Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Reappor- <br />tionment RESOLUTION NO. 83-4-152 - APPROVING ASSESSMENT <br />REAPPORTIONMENT FOR DIVISION NO. 058030 <br />D/P 0032 <br />AUD 0425 <br />The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Fahey, Forsberg, Nardini, Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Paqe 164. <br />Lhgineer Mr. Carley reported the bids on the traffic signals on Rice and <br />Minnesota will be opened on Tuesday, April 19. The bid can be awarded <br />at the April 27th Council Meetinq. <br />Mr. Carley reported that the bids on the watermain projects will be <br />opened on May 9, and will be ready for approval at the May 11th <br />Council Meetinq. <br />Mr. Carley reported that it was decided that bids for the drainage at <br />Sleepy Hollow would also be opened on May 9. A meeting would then be <br />held with Mr. Ted Glasrud in regard to his part of the financing of <br />this project. <br />Mr.. Carley reported that Julian Johnson is still. in business and he <br />will be finishing the water projects. <br />Garske The Council discussed the swail on Mr. Garske's property on Payne Ave. <br />Swail Mrs. Nardini will refer the matter to Mr. Locke, Buildinq Off.icial who <br />will deal with the Engineer to see that this swail is completed. <br />Demont Mr. Richard Demont, 177 E. Demont Ave. requested a renewal of his <br />Variance variance for lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 12, approved by Resolution No. <br />Extension 81-5-218. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-4-153 - EXTENDING THE VARZANCE FOR <br />THE RICHARD DEMONT PROPERTY FOR ONE YEAR. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Fahey, Forsberg, Nardini, Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 165. <br />Utilities Mr. Forsberg reported on the following utility matters: <br />Northern States Power is interested in converting to energy saving street <br />lights. They would cost the City more per month. The Council decided <br />not to take any action concerning this matter at this time. <br />Page 5 <br />
