Part-time A discussion was held regarding the procedures of hirinq part-time help. <br />Employees The City does not accept applications for employment unless there is a <br />job available. <br />The possibility was discussed of hiring a part-time person to cut grass <br />for the summer at minimum waqe. Mr. Morelan will research the hours <br />spent cuttinq grass in the Recreation and Park Department. <br />A meeting will be held regarding a Personnel Ordinance, which will set <br />up a policy with regard to this area. The subject will be discussed <br />again at the next meeting. <br />Park The Park Commission has submitted plans and specifications for approval <br />Blacktop by the Council of a bituminous parking area in Spooner Park. <br />Bid <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption; <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-4-157 - APPROVING THE PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE BITUMINOUS AREA CONSTRUCTION <br />AT SPOONER PARK AND CnLL FOR BIDS ON MAY 10, 1983~ <br />WITH THE STIPULA7'ION THAT ALL CHANGES IN THE LETTER <br />RECEIVED FROM THE SCHOOL DISTRICT ARE MADE AND STILL <br />COMING UNDFR THE BUDGET OF $15,000. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Fahey, Forsberg, Nardini, Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 169. <br />Plantings Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Spooner <br />Park RESOLUTION NO. 83-4-158 - CALLING FOR INFORMAL <br />QUOTATIONS FOR PLANTINGS AROUND THE SPOONER <br />PARK SIGN. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Fahey, Forsberg, Nardini, Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Hook No. 9, Page 170. <br />Letter The Park Commission has written the Roseville School Board a letter <br />School with a concern as to the future of the park ownership. <br />Board <br />Mr. Porsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RP•.SOLUTION NO. 83-4-159 - APPROVING THE LETTER <br />WRITTEN TO THE ROSEVILLP:, SCHOOL BOARD FROM THE <br />PARK COMMISSION. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Fahey, Forsberg, Nardini, Scalze. <br />Nayes (0), <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 171. <br />Page 7 <br />
