MINUTES <br />Council Meeting <br />June 22, 1983 <br />Sleepy Mr. Carley discussed the Sleepy Hollow drainage. He met with Mr. <br />Hollow Glasrud who agreed that the proposed drainage cost estimated to <br />Drainage be $76,000 be divided by three between Sleepy Hollow, Heather Oaks <br />and himself. This would not seem to be a big problem with Heather <br />Oaks. However, Sleepy Hollow is not in agreement. The School <br />Board has refused any contribution. <br />The Highway Department has been sent all of the resolutions and <br />sets of plans. We have taken the bids and they are ready to let. <br />However, they are only good for 60 days. <br />Mr. Carley is to send a letter to the owner of Sleepy Hollow. <br />Payne Ave. Mr. Carley has inspected two sites on Payne Ave. The lot north <br />Drainage of the Mills property has recently been sodded. Mr. Locke is <br />to send a letter to the owner of the property requesting him to <br />correct the problem with his drainage swale in three weeks, and <br />if not done the City wi11 correct the swale and assess it to the <br />property. <br />Mr. Carley recommended no action on the Garske swale but suggested <br />it be monitored on an annual basis. <br />Total Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />Asphalt adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-6-268 - APPROVING FINAL <br />PAYMENT TO TOTAL ASPHALT FOR THE COUNTRY <br />DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Fahey, Forsberg, Scalze and Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 307. <br />Ehgineer Mrs. Scalze sugqested that the City require references when asking <br />Other for bids as a matter of policy. <br />Mr. Chlebeck was asked to check with the Roseville staff in regards <br />to their policies in requiring references. <br />Zoch Mr. Hanson explained that Mr. Husnik has an open pit close to the <br />Property adjoininq property of Mr. Zoch. The City is on record of notifyinq <br />Mr. Husnik in regards to this matter. The Council views this <br />situation as a private matter. <br />Page 8 <br />
