The f:irst i.s for 13 iots an<1 the seconcl 9< The Planner informed the Council Chat the Ci.ty has an appraisal on the property Agenda of $80,000. The Attorney replieci that the Ci.ty can enter :inCO a purchase agreement on the property subject to the City's comp].eti.ng re~istration of the property, The Attorney thought it wi.11 talce about 5 months before the City has a marlcetabte title. Mr.. Forsber.g stated that he liked the proposal containing 9 lots. Porsberg felt that the Council should not consider the expansion of the tra:tler court on this property. Scala.e and Pahey agreed. Mr. Pahey suggested that the Ci.ty, rather than selli.ng the property to a developer, sell r.he lots itself:. I~'ahey also commented that the City is in no immedi.ate need to se11 the property. The Attorney reported that the ci.ty's purchase oE the property is $30,000 and the City has a 10-year contract to pay this amount. Mr. Pahey Ee1t that the Ci.ty should wa:it until the ti.tle cLears on the property beLore offering it for sale. Mrs. Scalze fel.t that the ~ngineer shouLd checlc out the water and sewer situation.
